To meet the demand for reliable medical power supplies, MEAN WELL have introduced the GSM120B series of medical adaptors. The 120W adaptors, which have a 2xMOPP (Means of Patient Protection) design, are certified with the third edition of IEC60601-1. Featuring a leakage current less than 100μA, an efficiency up to 91.5% and a no load power consumption of less than 0.15W, the adaptors are reliable to use.

Alongside a 80-264VAC input range, the GSM120B series of adaptors supply 12V, 15V, 20V, 24V, and 48V DC output voltages. The adaptors are class II units (no FG) with UL 94V-0 level flame retardant plastic cases, preventing shock. Other functions include short circuit protection, over load protection, over voltage protection and over temperature protection.

The GSM120B series of adaptors comply with ErP step 2 of the European Union and EISA 2007 and are EN60601-1-11 and ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1-11 certified. Suitable applications for the adaptors include mobile clinical workstations, oral irrigators, portable hemodialysis machines, breath machines, medical display monitors and automated clinical chemistry analysers.
