600W High Reliability Enclosed Power Supply now available from Ecopac Power Ltd.

Mean Well has introduced the high performance HRPG-600 series with high operating efficiency and low no load power consumption. After the introduction of the 150-watt HRPG-150 series, the new 600-watt models are now available. HRPG-600 series are AC/DC miniature enclosed type power supplies with PFC function that fulfill the requirement of EN61000-3-2 for harmonic current.

In comparison to the first generation of power supplies the SP-500 and PSP-600 series developed by Mean Well, the dimensions of the HRPG-600 have been reduced by 23%, while the working efficiency has been increased by 5%. In addition the warranty is increased from 3 years to 5 years.

The Mean Well HRPG-600 series has up to 89% of high efficiency and 6.77W/in3 of power density; providing 600 watts continuously up to 50C by built-in DC fan with fan speed control function. HRPG-600 models can be supplied with an additional remote ON/OFF control and 5V/0.3A standby output to achieve the no load power consumption of <0.5W. In addition as the units overload protection is constant current it can be used in battery charging applications.

The Mean Well HRPG-600 series is supplied with worldwide safety certificates, UL, CUL, TUV, CE, and CB. Applications include factory automation, moving sign, test and measurement equipment, and all applications that require low no load power consumption.
