Integrated Power Designs announces the new GRN series of “green” power supplies. Available in both single and multiple output versions at 45, 80 and 110 Watt power levels. Complying with the energy saving requirements of the ErP (Energy Related Products) Directive, the single output versions offer high efficiency, high power density and low standby power.
The multi output versions are available with up to four outputs and also offer high efficiency and low no-load input power in a compact, low profile package. The GRN series is well suited to a broad range of medical, information technology and industrial applications and is designed for those seeking to reduce stand-by and overall power consumption.

Offering 17 standard models at each power level the GRN series offer a flat efficiency curve from 25% to 100% load. The use of innovative design techniques result in over 87% average efficiency for the singles (12-48V) and 85% for the multi’s (3.3 & 5V outputs also available) while featuring less than 300mW standby power (<1W multi’s) allowing the singles to meet the ErP requirement of 87% and 500mW. Designed for convection cooled applications, the GRN series operates from 0 to 70⁰C with suitable derating above 50⁰C.

All GRN model operate from 85 to 264 Vac input, feature overvoltage and overpower protection and are available open frame or with an optional chassis and cover. CE marked in accordance with the LV Directive, the GRN series conforms to CISPR11/22 level B conducted and radiated emissions, meets the EMC requirements of EN 61000-6-2 and EN 60601-1-2 and are safety certified to the UL, CSA and European versions of EN 60950-1 ITE and EN 60601-1 (2nd and 3rd Editions) medical standards.
