Emerson Network Power has introduced the DCH2 switching wall-mount power supply series. Configured specifically for portable and mobile equipment with low power requirements, the DCH2 series is ideal for a broad range of external applications that require wall mount AC plug configurations, including wireless communications, peripherals and networking.
Capable of delivering 6.5V at a maximum of 2 Watts total power, the DCH2 offers a universal AC input with a wide 90 – 264 VAC power range. Featuring overload and short circuit protection combined with constant and voltage and constant current output, the latest switching wall-mount power supply series also includes a built-in EMI filter and complies with a variety of worldwide safety and performance standards, including UL, CSA, TUV, NEMKO, CB and CE.

Emerson also today announced the addition of a low power (5V at 10W) model to its DA12-M series wall mount switching adapters, joining an existing line of best-in-class high-density (12V at 12W) power adapters. Specifically designed for use with medical and information technology equipment (ITE) applications, DA12-M series’ slim form-factor enables the use of multiple adapters in dual wall outlet configurations, making the adapters ideal for certain non-patient critical medical and dental services.

Featuring universal 90-264 VAC inputs in four AC plug configurations (US, UK, EU and AU models), the DA12-M series adapters also offers a fully integrated mechanism designed to protect against overvoltage, overtemperature and short-circuit/overload conditions up to 150 percent above their maximum rating. The adapters are also compliant with stringent Level V Efficiency standards and Energy Star 2.0 and CeC approvals.
