Power-One introduces SQE48T Series eighth-bricks providing single outputs of 1.2V @ 50A, 1.5V @ 40A, 1.8V @ 40A, and 2.5V @ 40A. Best-in-class efficiencies and thermal-management techniques deliver elevated-temperature performance that exceeds most currently-available similar-amperage quarter bricks. These through-hole-mounted DC-DC converters provide industry-standard DOSA footprints and are available with both six-substance and lead-solder-exempted RoHS compliances.

Additional features include: wide range 36-75VDC inputs, 2250VDC input-to-output isolation, Basic insulation, start-up into highly-capacitive loads, and the capability to withstand a 100V input transient for 100ms.

Interface features include: positive or negative logic on/off, industry-standard-equation +10%/-20% output trim, and Vout remote sense. Protections include: overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature. Regulatory approvals include: UL60950-1/CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 60950-1, TUV EN 60950-1, and IEC 60950-1. These cost-effective converters incorporate low-profile 0.374 (9mm) heights and industry-standard 2.3 x 0.9 inch (58.4 x 22.7mm) footprints.

Pricing is $38 each in quantities of 1000. Samples are usually available from stock and production quantities are typically available in ten to twelve weeks.
