Mean Well has now developed a full range of external power supplies from 6 watts to 220 watts. Incorporating the standard IEC320-C14 inlet as the input connector, the GS120 series has 85 - 264VAC universal input with PFC function and uses an Led indicator to show operating status.
Supplied with an earth ground pin and enclosed by UL 94V-0 rated plastic case these Class I units can effectively prevent users from electrical shocks. Designed with very low “no load power consumption” (<0.5W) and up to 91% of high efficiency, the whole series have real energy saving at both standby mode and active mode.

The GS120 series complies with global regulations for external power supplies, including ErP step 2 (Energy-related Products, 2009/125/EC), Energy Star, Eisa 2007 (Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007) of USA, and Meps (Minimum Energy Performance Standards) of Australia.

Mean Well’s GS120 series can be supplied with 5 different Output voltages from 12 volt to 48 volt. By using LLC topology the GS120 series, with only free air convection, can operate from -30° to +45° under full load condition (@ 230VAC), and even up to +70° ambient temperature with the appropriate de-rating.

The Mean Well GS120 series meets all the following global safety and EMC certificates as per TUV, UL, CUL, BSMI, CCC, CB, FCC, and CE for use in many different applications such as consumer electronics, POS system, and office/commercial equipment.
