DC generators with reduced opex costs and increased capex
DC generators designed to cost the same as AC generators to install, have been introduced by Controllis. LC48 generators are suitable for global telecommuncations operators looking to reduce their opex costs and increase their capex.
“We have gathered significant market feedback which we have incorporated into our new products” said Simon Albury, CEO, Controllis. “Our standard DC generators have demonstrated their opex benefits including significant fuel savings: now, with the LC48 we have a high quality, remotely monitored DC generator that is on a capex par with AC Generator pricing.”
“The flat-pack kit allows for in-country assembly which reduces shipping, labour and import duty costs.” said Mr Albury. “The savings will be significant as import duties can vary between 5% and over 25% in some countries.”
The LC48 generators are available in 5-12kW power ratings and with either open frames or composite and galvanised steel canopys. They can be imported fully assembled from the UK, or shipped in a flat-packed kit-assembly.
