DC-DC converters offer full 50W of output power
Offering a full 50 Watts of output power in an encapsulated, shielded metal 2" x 1" industry standard footprint, the MKWI50 Series has been unveiled today by Minmax Power. All models provide ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage range and five precisely regulated output voltages.
An advanced circuit topology achieves high efficiency up to 92% and allows an operating temperature range of -40°C to +80°C. Additional features include remote on/off, 1500VDC I/O-isolation voltage, internal EMI-filter, trimmable output voltage, input under-voltage lockout, as well as overload and over-temperature protection.
The MKWI50 Series models are approved to worldwide UL/EN60950-1 safety standards and are RoHS compliant and backed by a 3 year warranty.
Typical applications for these converters are battery operated equipment, instrumentation, distributed power architectures in communication or industrial electronics, and other space critical applications. Units are economically priced at less than $43.00 in OEM quantity, with delivery from stock to 6 weeks ARO.
