DC/DC converters meet military specifications
Stadium Power has announced the military specification BOA series, comprised of four models: the BOA100m has an input voltage range of 9-38V DC and an output power of 100W, the 150W BOA150m has an input voltage range of 18-75V DC, the BOA200m 200W output version has an input range of 9-75V DC and the 350W output BOA350m has an input voltage range of 18-75V DC.
The low profile, baseplate cooled DC/DC converters provide fully regulated and isolated output voltages of 12, 15, 24, 28, 36 and 48V DC. The BOA series also features electronically limited inrush current, input to output isolation of 3000V AC RMS, output to case isolation 500V AC RMS, reverse polarity protection and surge protection to MIL-STD 1275 with the option of DEF-STAN 61-5 part 6 issue 6. Typical efficiency is up to 85% (the BOA350m offers efficiency up to 92.5%).
