DC/DC converters feature optimised cost-to-performance ratio
Power Sources Unlimited has announced the 10W THL10 and THL10WI series of optimised cost-to-performance ratio DC/DC converters in an industry standard package. The THL10 has a wide input voltage range of 2:1 and the THL10WI has an ultra-wide input voltage range of 4:1, while both offer single and dual precisely regulated output voltages.
High efficiency across load range makes these products very reliable over an operating temperature range from -40 to +80°C, or up to +85C with a heat sink). They are suited for extreme temperature conditions with typical applications including mobile equipment, instrumentation, distributed power architectures in communication and industrial electronics and where space on the PCB is critical.
Packaged in a 25.4x25.4x10.16mm (1x1x0.4″) shielded metal case with insulated baseplate, standard features include 1500VDC I/O isolation, remote on/off, over-load, under-voltage shut down and short-circuit protection. An internal EMI-filter to meet EN55022, class A without external components for conducted noise comes standard. The power supplies meet UL/cUL 60950-1, IEC/EN 60950-1 safety standards and are approved for altitude operation up to 5,000m.
