Rugged laboratory power supplies offer advanced features

Conrad Business Supplies has begun stocking EA Elektro-Automatik’s latest series of DC laboratory power supplies. As an adjustable and programmable 19 inch, 3U power supply series, available in voltages as from 40 to 1500 VDC, the new PSI 9000 Series upholds EA Elektro-Automatik’s build quality in a format designed to be safer, stronger and more reliable.

Built to withstand demanding working environments, the PSI 9000 3U is ideal for use in applications found in the aerospace, automotive and electro-chemical sectors.

The PSI 9000 3U features an isolated, 16bit FPGA controller, extended functions, high-speed reaction time, and offers the user the ability to simulate different power sources, such as a solar array, fuel cell or any battery, in a single product. Fitted with a 64,000 colour TFT touch display, the PSI 9000 3U Series provides a clear intuitive and informative user experience.

Offering an intelligent plug-and-play slot, the PSI 9000 3U permits retrofitting of a variety of optional interface modules such as CANopen, Ethernet, Profibus, Modbus and others. Furthermore, with auto-ranging output and a standard 2-way interface (isolated analogue 0-5V/0-10V and USB) EA Elektro-Automatik have created a highly versatile and capable series of DC power supplies.
