Compact POL converters target high current applications
Providing extremely high power density and high operating efficiency from light to full load conditions, the iJB series has been announced by TDK-Lambda. The surface-mount compact 60A DC/CC converters are suitable for high current applications including communications, test, broadcast and industrial equipment.
The non-isolated POL modules are PMBus read and write compliant and digitally controlled, enabling increased flexibility and customisation. The iJB series features adjustable output voltages of 0.6-2.0V with a precision set point accuracy of 0.5% and extremely accurate current read-back. They accept 8-14VDC bus voltages, can achieve up to 93% efficiency and also support easy parallelling with interleaving for implementation in higher current applications.
The surface mount converters include a digital adaptive control feature which can accommodate a wide range of external load capacitance. The iJB series also features negative or positive remote on/off, Power Good signal, remote sense, configurable sequence and fault management capabilities, and fully automatic recovery protection circuitry for over current and over voltage conditions.
Measuring 26.8x24.1x9.7mm, the converters are approved to UL/CSA/IEC/EN 60950-1, are CE-marked in accordance with the low voltage (LV) and RoHS Directives and are supplied with a three year warranty.
