Mean Well launched a cost effective 96 watt metal case power supply the CEN-100 series. Designed primarily for the LED markets, but ideal for any installation that requires a power supply capable of withstanding harsh environments.
Due to the exceptional mechanical design the CEN-100 series meets IP66 rating; users can adjust the output current or voltage easily without removing the covers. Through the potential meters the output current can be adjusted between 75% and 100% of rated value and the voltage adjusted by ± 10%.

Thanks to the simplified single stage PFC topology, meeting the requirement for high power factor correction can be achieved economically. With this built-in active PFC function, the Mean Well CEN-100 meets the requirements of harmonic current per EN61000-3-2 Class C, and also meets PF>0.9 if loading is over 60%.

Designed for operating within harsh environments, the Mean Well CEN-100 series has a full-aluminium case, stainless steel screws and waterproof cables. The power supply operates at up to 91% of high efficiency; and can be cooled by free air convection from -30° to +70° ambient temperature. In addition, the CEN-100 series is supplied with 4KV surge immunity (EN61000-4-5) that complies with the requirements for the operating of street lighting applications.

Other standard functions include constant voltage (C.V.) + constant current (C.C.) operation mode, short circuit, overload, over voltage, and over temperature protections. With a 3 year warranty and worldwide safety certificates, UL, CUL, TUV, CE, and CB the Mean Well CEN-100 series further increases Mean Well’s comprehensive range of IP rated harsh environment power supplies.
