Campbell Collins Ltd, a specialist supplier of power supplies, capacitors and hi-rel power semiconductors, is pleased to announce the release of a new range of fully waterproof power supplies from MTM Power of Germany.
The PM-IP67A series offer IP67 rated protection against dust, humidity, condensation and total liquid immersion for applications where an external housing such as a switching cabinet is not available to offer that level of protection. This could for example be on board vehicles, trains, heavy plant machinery, or other mobile and/or static equipment which need to operate in extreme environments.

The PM-IP67A series accepts universal inputs from 90-264Vac and 100-353Vdc making them suitable for world wide applications as well as for high voltage dc situations. The devices are now offered in power levels of 100W, 75W and 50W to complement the already released 200W devices, and can deliver a wide range of voltages depending on power level including 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V, 36V and 48V single outputs, and ±12V, ±24V, ±48V and 12V/24V dual outputs. Certain models are offered with a “Power Boost” feature, which enables the power supply to deliver up to 150% of its rated load for up to 4s for applications requiring short term bursts of additional power.

Utilsing MTM’s Thermoselective Vacuum Encapsulation process, the units offer superior protection in the toughest of environments, and operate over a -25°C to +70°C temperature range. Short circuit protection is included as standard, and the units are UL/cUL and VDE approved, and carry the CE mark for the EMC and LVD directives.
