Campbell Collins Ltd, a specialist supplier of power supplies, capacitors and power semiconductors, announces today that it has added to its franchise list by taking on Integrated Power Designs’ (IPD) range of AC/DC and DC/DC Embedded Power Supplies.
The range of AC/DC power supplies includes power levels from 25W to 400W; 1-5 outputs from 2.5V to 48V; sizes as small as 4.25” x 2” and operating temperatures from -40degC to +70degC. Units are available to meet both EN60950 (ITE) safety certified operation, and EN60601-1 (Medical) operation with associated isolation and leakage current requirements. Reinforced insulation is standard across the range meeting dielectric strength tests as high as 5656Vdc/4000Vac. Efficiencies are as high as 85% typical.

The DC/DC range offers drop in DC Input versions of the REL series of AC/DC power supplies from IPD, which enables a seamless transition between AC and DC input fed designs. Power levels are from 70W to 185W and input voltage ranges are 18-36Vdc and 36-72Vdc. 1-4 outputs are available from 2.5V to 48V, and package sizes are as low as 4.5” x 2.5”. Again, these devices are offered in EN60950 versions as well as EN60601-1 medically approved versions. Reinforced insulation is standard across the range meeting dielectric strength tests as high as 4242Vdc/3000Vac. Efficiencies are as high as 84% typical.

“As well as offering a very wide range of standard off the shelf products, Campbell Collins is now able to offer modified standard products based on IPD’s existing range, as well as full custom AC/DC solutions to meet specific customer requirements” said Phil Goff, Sales & Marketing Manager for Campbell Collins. “The design of IPD’s power supplies contains a high degree of modularity, making modifications very straightforward to support fast development cycles” he continued.
