Adapter features improved efficiency & up-to-date compliance
Mean Well has announced the GST120A series, a green adaptor which complies with up-to-date energy efficiency regulations (EISA 2007/DoE Level VI). GST120A is equipped with a no load power consumption of less than 0.15W and an average operating efficiency which is superior to the company's GS120 model (120W, level V), already released.
GST120A is thus able to better fulfill energy saving and carbon reduction, either at the no load mode or the operating mode. GST120A is highly suitable to be used with various types of consumer electronic devices, telecomms devices, office facilities, and industrial equipment requiring compliance with up-to-date energy regulations.
The adapter operates with 85-264VAC input, and features a built-in active PFC function. Functioning in temperatures of -30 to +70°C, the GST120A comes in a 94V-0 flame retardant plastic case measuring 167x67x35mm, and is subject to UL/CUL/TUV/BSMI/CCC/PSE/CB/FCC/CE approvals. The device offers protection against short circuit, overload, over voltage and over temperature, and comes with a three year warranty as standard.
