AC/DC power supplies suit patient vicinity applications
Medically approved and suitable for patient vicinity applications such as patient monitors, the TMM series of AC/DC power supplies has been introduced by Power Sources Unlimited. The power supply series is available in 24, 40 and 60W models, offering single or dual outputs of 5, 12, 24, 48, ±12 and ±15VDC.
Operating over a temperature range from -40 to +60°C at full load, with a start-up temperature of -40°C, the TMM series features efficiency up to 87%, universal input range of 90-264VAC and over-voltage and continuous short-circuit protection. Designed for PCB assembly or chassis mounting with screw terminals, the units are fully encapsulated.
The power supplies comply with 2x MOPP and IEC/EN 60601-1 3rd Edition medical safety standards, as well as meeting the ErP directive for less than 0.3W no load power consumption. The TMM series features IEC/UL 60950-1 and UL 508 safety approvals, making them also suitable for demanding transportation, industrial and commercial applications.
With prototypes available in 1-2 weeks, pricing for the TMM series starts from under $40 each in OEM quantities.
