65W Medical Power Supply from SL Power Electronics

A new series of internal power supplies from SL Power Electronics offers medical OEMs a high performance supply at a popular power level. The MINT1065 single-output family is the latest addition to the company’s line of Condor-branded power supplies.

Condor MINT1065 units are compact, open-frame designs measuring only 2 x 4 x 1.02in (51 x 102 x 27mm). They have a typical full-load efficiency of 90 percent and are available in five models ranging from 12 to 48V. The supply is intended for a wide range of medical applications, from diagnostic and respiratory care equipment to continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) devices and monitors of all types.



The MINT1065 family features a universal 100-240 VAC input that provides flexibility for use anywhere in the world. The series is protected against over voltage, over current and short circuit with optional over temperature protection available. “The Condor MINT1065 series is compact and engineered for compliance with stringent medical regulations,” said Nigel Davies, SL Power’s European Managing Director. “Its design and high reliability make the MINT1065 series an excellent choice for medical OEMs across many of the most popular applications in the global medical equipment market.”



SL Power’s MINT1065 AC-DC power supplies are immunity compliant to EN61000-4-2, EN61000-4-3, EN61000-4-4, EN61000-4-5, EN61000-4-6, EN61000-4-8 and EN61000-4-11 standards. The series also carries a wide set of safety approvals include EN/IEC/UL 60601-1 and CSA 22.2 No. 601.1-M90. In addition, the MINT1065 family is RoHS-compliant.



The new power supplies can be modified to meet unique power or connectivity requirements. SL Power Electronics also can design a custom solution to meet specific OEM requirements. The Condor MINT1065 is available for delivery subject to standard lead times. Pricing starts at $19.00 in OEM production quantities.
