4W power supplies handle extreme temperatures
Operating over a wide temperature range from -40 to +80°C, the RAC04-C/230 series 4W mini power supplies have been introduced by RECOM. Suitable for worldwide use due to its wide input voltage range of 80-264V AC, the mini power supplies are well equipped to supply outdoor sensors or control units in residential as well as industrial applications.
The RAC04-C/230 series are available as single 3.3, 5, 12, 15 or 24V or dual 5/12, ±5 or ±12V versions. Meeting the requirements of class B EN55022 without external components (vital for home electronics), the 4W power supplies feature efficiencies of up to 79%, short-circuit protected outputs and compact dimensions of 36.7x27.2x17.1mm.
Pin-compatible with, and 30% cheaper than, its predecessors, this power supply series is certified to EN/UL 60950-1 and have a MTBF up to 500,000 hours. The converters consume no more than 100mW under no-load conditions. This means that standby power consumption is five times less than required from the EuP-directive.
