450W medical power supply boasts compact design
HiTek Power is now offering a medical power supply (compliant with IEC60601-1 – 3rd Edition) that boasts a compact footprint, high level of effectivity of 90% and some additional special features. With convection cooling, this device produces 300W and with a 23.5 CFM fan, it can even be loaded to 450W.
You can also use this power supply for an extended operating temperature range (-20°C to +70°C); it also withstands a vibration load of 2G. Apart from this, you can conveniently control the power supply using an ON/OFF signal, have the option of Power OK polling and also check the output voltage on long cables (Remote Sense). The MP-450 Series with its universal input voltage of 90V AC - 264V AC and active PFC is available with an output voltage of 12V, 15V, 24V or 48V. In common with most medical power supplies, the input of the output is checked with 4kV.
With its dimensions of 177.8mm x 101.6mm x 39.6mm, the company claims that this is one of the most compact power supplies in its performance class.
