240 & 480W DIN-rail supplies address space constraints
Addressing space constraints on TS-35/7.5 or TS-35/15 DIN-rails in the industrial control market, Mean Well has added 240 and 480W models to its NDR-xx series of slim, economical DIN-rail power supplies, measuring 63 and 85.5mm, respectively. The NDR-240 and NDR-480 models feature volumes reduced by 43 and 51.6%, respectively, compared to the previous generation DRP-240/480 series.
The devices accept universal input of 90-264VAC, and integrate a built in PFC function. Suited to terminal cabinets with limited internal rail spacing, applications include industrial control system, semiconductor fabrication equipment, factory automation and MEMS.
The units feature an operating temperature range of -20 to +70°C, and are cooled by free air convection. Featuring short circuit, over voltage, over temperature and overload protections, the supplies comply with EN61000-6-2(EN50082-2) industrial immunity level and are subject to UL508/TUV/CB/CE approval. The supplies are offered with a three year warranty as standard.
