Schaefer's latest pure sine wave inverter products now includes a 2KVA model packaged in a 1U rackmount design. Highly efficient and reliable, the pure sine wave output of the AEP-A2000R Series offers benefits over modified or quasi-sine wave units by delivering “clean” output power for powering sensitive loads and for improving AC equipment performance.
The AEP-A2000R Series is available in three standard input configurations of 12VDC, 24VDC and 48VDC. Outputs are available in 115 or 230VAC (50/60Hz) versions, which are regulated to +/-3% or
better. A built-in, 4-6ms automatic bypass switch allows for redundant operation from utility power if the DC supply drops out.

All models in the AEP-A2000R Series feature comprehensive circuit and overload protection with easy to read, user-friendly digital displays and alarms to indicate low input voltage, short circuit, input
overvoltage, over temperature, overload and low battery. The display also indicates voltage, amperage, power and temperature. Efficiency is 86 - 92%, depending upon the model selected. The extended operating temperature of –30°C to +60°C allows for installation in even the most extreme environments. EMI is minimized for reduced impact on other sensitive equipment.

The compact, 1U, rackmount design is rugged and ideal for industrial, utility, satellite, military, computer, communications, emergency vehicle, marine, and general backup power applications. The slim size of 16 x 19 x 1.73in (d x w x h) fits easily into 1U racks.
