15W External Power Supply from SL Power meets latest Energy Star and EISA Standards
SL Power Electronics has announced a new 15W external power supply family that meets both the Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star Level IV criteria and the new Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (EISA) requirements.
Designed for both commercial and medical applications, the new MW/PW170KB series is compact, measuring 3.3 x 1.81 x 1.2 in (77.7 x 46 x 33mm) and is available in desktop and wall plug styles with optional interchangeable blades for North America, Japan, the United Kingdom and Europe.
“The MW/PW170KB series is well-suited for many applications requiring high reliability in a compact package,” said Nigel Davies, European Managing Director for SL Power Electronics. “This family meets both Energy Star Level IV and EISA regulations so OEMs can be confident they are using high performance power supplies that meet all current US energy conservation standards.”
Available in seven voltage models ranging from 5 to 24V, all versions can be modified to meet unique power or connectivity requirements. SL Power Electronics also can design a completely custom solution to meet specific OEM requirements and private-label marking needs.
The CE-compliant MW/PW170KB family meets all leading safety standards and is EMI/RFI compliant. The series features a 100 to 240VAC universal input and an impact resistant polycarbonate enclosure.
