100W pure sine wave DC/AC inverters operate in harsh environments
The CSI-100-D1-IP66 series of rugged, DC/AC inverters deliver up to 100W pure sine wave output voltage. Microprocessor controlled high frequency PWM technology is used to convert 24, 36, 48 or 125VDC input to 115VAC at 60Hz or 400Hz, or 230VAC at 50Hz.
Efficiency is typically 80% at full load. Filtering on the input and output contributes to low noise, which allows the unit to be used in EMI sensitive environments without additional filtering. The units have comprehensive electronic protection and comply with EN60950-1 and corresponding UL458 and CSA international safety standards.
The rugged inverters are installed in IP66-rated waterproof, die cast aluminum packages with sealed connectors. The internal module is conformal coated and ruggedised. This level of protection ensures immunity to rain, humidity, sand, dust, oil and other contaminants, as well as to shock and vibration. The rugged inverters are suitable for use in transportation, mining, marine, oil rigs and other harsh environments.
Cooling is by internal conduction to the walls of the IP66 enclosure and via baseplate to an external chassis or cabinet wall, or heatsink. This enables operation within a -25 to +55°C temperature range for full specification; wider temperature ranges are available on request.
