Diodes Incorporated wins Climate Change Award

The climate change award category, sponsored by British Gas Business, invites the UK manufacturing community to demonstrate business initiatives that developed markets for products that helped customers to significantly reduce carbon emissions.



Diodes won the award in recognition of its activity in LED lighting driver technology, enabling lighting manufacturers to replace power hungry incandescent bulbs with high reliability low power LEDs in a range of consumer and automotive applications.



Kirsten Motyl, Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Manager at Diodes said, Diodes is using its expertise in power management to create LED lighting drivers capable of reducing power consumption from 100's of Watts to 10's of Watts. By developing our LED driving products, Diodes is able to play a small role in the reduction of global warming through the provision of more energy efficient solutions to real world problems.
