CISSOID has announced a new High Temperature general purpose operational amplifier CMT-OPA, which sustains a temperature range from -55°C to +175°C. The CMT-OPA is packaged in Plastic SOIC16W to fit market demand for small form factors in high temperature applications such as automotive, industrial, oil & gas, and aeronautics markets.
CMT-OPA is a quad-Operational Amplifier with a gain above 90dB and a current consumption of only 575µA per channel when supplied at 20V. Thanks to its latch-up free CMOS process as well as specific design and manufacturing techniques, the CMT-OPA operates reliably within specifications at continuous temperatures up to 175°C. It can be powered from single or symmetric supply voltages ranging from 4.5V to 20V.

This product further extends CISSOID’s CMT line of High Temperature IC’s in plastic package. This line, introduced by CISSOID in February 2009, fills the temperature gaps between usual semiconductor components and CISSOID’s CHT line (-55°C to +225°C). CISSOID already introduced previously the CMT-555 timer and the CMT-74XX logic family. CISSOID will keep introducing more new products in the CMT family in the near future.
