Vishay Intertechnology launched a new IHLP® low-profile, high-current inductor in the 6767 case size. Featuring an ultra-low 4.0-mm profile, the IHLP-6767DZ-01 offers a high maximum frequency, saturation currents up to 92 A, and standard inductance values from 0.22 µH through 10.0 µH.
With a frequency range up to 2.0 MHz, the new IHLP-6767DZ-01 serves as a high-performing, space- and power-saving solution for voltage regulator module (VRM) and dc-to-dc applications in end products including next-generation mobile devices; desktop computers, servers, graphic cards, and automotive systems; low-profile, high-current power supplies and point of load (POL) converters; distributed power systems; and field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs).

The IHLP-6767DZ-01 offers an inductance range from 0.22 µH to 10.0 µH, a saturation current range from 19.5 A up to 92 A, a heat rating current range from 10.5 A to 75.0 A, and maximum DCR from 0.88 mΩ to 25.60 mΩ.

The new inductor handles high transient current spikes without hard saturation. Packaged in an RoHS-compliant, 100 % lead (Pb)-free shielded, composite construction that reduces buzz noise to ultra-low levels, the new device is specified for an operating temperature range of - 55 °C to + 125 °C, with high resistance to thermal shock, moisture, mechanical shock, and vibration.

Samples and production quantities of the new inductor are available now, with lead times of 10 to 12 weeks for large orders.
