Available from specialist distributor Switchtec, Hongfa’s HF3FD ‘sugar cube’ relay is aimed specifically at the white goods market and as such will find favour with OEMs, CEMs, manufacturers of brown goods, home automation, domestic products and general equipment manufacturers.
The white goods industry is an ever-growing market. More and more products are being developed for domestic use to take account of consumers’ desire for extra features and higher efficiency ratings. Hongfa specifically designed this relay to target this industry.

For versatility, interchangeability and to aid multiple sourcing, the HF3FD adopts an industry standard PCB footprint for this style of relay. The relay has a compact size of 19mm x 15.2mm x 15.5mm, reducing the amount of PCB surface area used. Boasting a high contact rating to relay size ratio, the HF3FD is rated at 10A at 250VAC or 28VDC.

Manufactured with a dielectric strength of 2500VAC and with robust class F type coils, the HF3FD is a high performance relay. Exhibiting versatility, the relay is available with 3, 5, 6, 9, 12, 18, 24 and 48VDC coils.

The HF3FD has a flammability class according to UL94 V0, and it conforms to CTI 250, VDE 0631/ 0700. It is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60335-1 that covers general requirements for the safety of electrical appliances for household and domestic use. The relay is approved by UL/CSA and VDE and is fully RoHS compliant.
