Suitable for use with DC/DC converters and in low voltage applications, particularly in hand-held and portable equipment, the XBS104P11R-G, XBS304F11R-G and XBS306P11R-G Schottky barrier diodes have been announced by Torex Semiconductor. Schottky barrier diodes offer much lower forward voltage drop than standard switching diodes which means that they can offer high current capabilities, ultra fast switching and low power dissipation.

The XBS104P11R-G is supplied in the SOD-123P package, and has a maximum average forward current of 1A and a maximum forward voltage of 0.56V (when forward current is 1A). Maximum reverse voltage is 40V and reverse current is 500µA maximum (when reverse voltage is 40V).

Supplied in the SMA-PG package, the XBS304F11R-G has a maximum average forward current of 3A and a maximum forward voltage of 0.45V (when forward current is 3A). Maximum reverse voltage is 40V and reverse current 2mA maximum (when reverse voltage is 40V).

The XBS306P11R-G is also supplied in the SMA-PG package, it has a maximum average forward current of 3A and a maximum forward voltage of 0.75V (when forward current is 3A). Maximum reverse voltage is 60V and reverse current 100µA maximum (when reverse voltage is 60V).

All three devices are fully RoHS compliant as well as being Halogen and Antimony free.
