The new IHLP® low-profile, high-current inductor in the 6767 case features an ultra-low 4.0mm profile. The IHLP-6767DZ-11 offers high efficiency with maximum DCR down to 2.05m Ohms and a wide range of standard inductance values from 1.0µH through 47.0µH. Samples and production quantities of the new inductor are available now at distributor Rutronik.

The new inductor handles high transient current spikes without hard saturation. The saturation current ranges, depending on inductance, from 4.3A to 27.5A, the heat rating current ranges from 5A to 41A and maximum DCR from 2.05mΩ to 108.46mΩ. Buzz noise is reduced by the RoHS-compliant, 100% lead (Pb)-free shielded, composite construction to ultra-low levels. The inductor is specified for an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and is characterized by high resistance to thermal shock, moisture, mechanical shock and vibration.

With a frequency range up to 750 kHz, the new IHLP-6767DZ-11 serves as a high-performing, space- and power-saving solution for voltage regulator module (VRM) and dc-to-dc applications in end products including next-generation mobile devices; notebooks, desktop computers, servers, graphic cards, personal navigation systems, personal multimedia devices, and automotive systems; low-profile, high-current power supplies and point of load (POL) converters; distributed power systems; and field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs).
