AC fuse combines performance with saving space
The 835 series fuse from Littelfuse, a time-lag, ceramic body AC fuse is the first fuse from Littelfuse to combine an unparalleled I2t value, a maximum interrupting rating of 1,500A at 250Vac, and 1.5kA 8/µs surge withstand capability in a space-saving 5x20mm footprint. It is now on sale at distributor Rutronik.
The fuse is available with current ratings of 5A, 6.3A and 8A. Packaged in both cartridge and leaded versions, it is designed to withstand frequent power surges and to protect electronic devices installed in surge-prone environments.
Its operating temperature range from -55° to 125°C ensures a robust performance and reliable protection in extreme temperature environments. Thanks to its features, the fuse is ideally suited for overcurrent protection in LED/LCD TVs, digital display systems, and digital signage.
The fuse meets the requirements of IEC 60127-2 and is RoHS compliant as well as 100% lead free.
