RAFI's new vandal-proof illuminated RG 85 III input system has been designed for severe conditions of use. Protection against vandalism is achieved by the special design of the component housings and the flush metal surface.
The system combines a modular design with individual elements fastened to a U-rail on the back of the front panel with two quick fasteners each. The elements are connected using an 8-wire flat-ribbon cable with a keyed Micro-Match socket connector. Actuators and indicators are available in either round or square design in the form of buttons. The signal indicator come in three shapes: round, collar or arrow shape and can be fully illuminated in different colours. Contacts are rated for 50V at 250mA. This and other RAFI products are available from their distributor Texim Europe BV.
