CIT Relay & Switch is now offering the J115F series of relays with 50A rating. The devices, which are UL/cUL certified and RoHS compliant, feature up to 4000Vrms coil-to-contact dielectric strength. In addition, the relays are UL F class rated standard.

The contact arrangement is 1A SPST N.O., 1B SPST N.C., and 1C SPDT. with a contact rating of 50A at 240VAC N.O. & 35A at 240VAC N.C. The contact resistance is less than 30mΩ and the contact material is AgSnO2 or AgSnO2In2O3.

The tested electrical life of the J115F series is 100,000 cycles with a mechanical life of 10m cycles. The dielectric strength is 4000Vrms minimum coil-to-contact for the high dielectric strength option, 2500Vrms minimum coil-to-contact and 1500Vrms minimum contact-to-contact.

Insulation resistance is 100MΩ minimum at 500VDC, while shock resistance is 200m/s2 for 11ms and vibration resistance is 1.50mm double amplitude 10-40Hz. The relays operate from -55 to +125°C with a storage temperature of -55 to +155°C. Solderability is 260°C for 5s. The J115F1, J115F2 and J115F3 weigh 30, 35 and 37g respectively.

The 50A relays are suitable for security, test equipment, telecomms, instrumentation, automotive, HVAC and motor control, as well as many other industrial applications.
