Reduced lead times of 10 to 12 weeks have been announced for Vishay Intertechnology’s IHLD-3232HB-5A and IHLD-4032KB-5A low-profile, high-current dual inductors. The Automotive Grade IHLD series devices offer a high operating temperature range to +155 °C and save board space by combining two inductors in one 3232 and 4032 package, respectively.

The inductors are optimised for automotive and commercial class D amplifier circuits, where the inductors reduce board space requirements and offer improved performance over using multiple discrete devices.

The inductors deliver excellent inductance stability over temperature and DC current, providing high-quality sound and low harmonic distortion due to linear saturation performance. The devices are designed with very low coupling for minimal cross-talk between inductors.

Vishay IHLD-3232HB-5A and IHLD-4032KB-5A inductors can also be used in telematics systems as EMI filters or in small power supplies and converters.

Built on Vishay's IHLP technology, the AEC-Q200-qualified inductors offer maximum DCR from 29.2 mΩ to 159.43 mΩ, inductance from 5 µH to 33 µH, and rated current to 6.0 A. Manufactured using a 100 % lead (Pb)-free shielded, composite construction package, the devices are specified for an operating temperature range of -55 °C to +155 °C, with high resistance to thermal shock, moisture, mechanical shock, and vibration
