knitter-switch unveil Sealed Micro-Switch with Lever and Terminal options
knitter-switch has today introduced the DM-SME series micro-switches, intended for use across a multitude of professional and consumer applications. The DM-SME versatile micro-switches can be sealed to IP67 when hard wired (AWG 18 wire) or to IP50 when connected via terminals.
Featuring a long mechanical life of up to 5 million cycles, the new DM-SME series sealed micro-switches have switching contacts rated to 3A@250VAC/30VDC.

The new series offers designers a number of actuation options including a choice of levers – straight, roller, simulated roller or a no lever option for close proximity switching.

The DM-SME micro-switches are available with a choice of connection terminals including tab, solder, PCB straight and PCB right angle and left angle on top of a choice of switching functions including SPDT, NO and NC.

Typical applications for the DM-SME series include use in communications equipment, professional or consumer appliances, office equipment, control and alarm panels and mobility aids including stair lifts.

A wide range of standard DIL, TACT, Rotary Encoder, Toggle and Push-button switches are available direct from knitter-switch and a number of distributors throughout Europe. Samples are usually available on next day delivery.
