For anyone who requires low resistance together with small inductance for the precise measurement of current, the TLR chiptype current sensing resistors from KOA are particularly suitable. The series covers the sizes from 1206 (0.5 W) to 2512 (2W), with resistance values from 1 mOhm to 20 mOhm.
The resistors have temperature coefficients of 75ppm/K. In order to be able to precisely measure current, the resistances are all specified with tolerances of +/-1%. Depending on size, power
ratings range from 0.5 W to 2 W. A special trimming process of the metal plate resistive element ensures the low parasitic inductance of these resistors. Compared to other resistors, they
can withstand higher temperatures of up to 170°C.

The merely 0.6 mm flat SMT-resistors can be processed with automatic equipment, and are re-flow soldering capable. They are particularly suited for use in automotive engine control units,
DC/DC converters, and frequency inverters.
