AVX facility recertified to AS9100 standard

AVX Corporation has recertified its advanced products facility in Olean, NY to AS9100, the international aerospace quality standard. AVX has an established twenty year history of supplying switch mode power supply (SMPS) stacked capacitors to the space, avionic and military industries, and maintains the largest profile of QPL items and approvals for the SMPS market. These advanced parts are uniquely suited for filtering capacitors on the input and output of power supplies or as snubber capacitors.

In addition, AVX has extensive test capabilities including, lightning (DO-160), signal characterization, RF analysis, and surge and voltage conditioning to meet customer demands. AVX can also perform failure analysis, DPA, C-SAM, and shake and vibration analysis, thereby offering customers a full solution to a design or production problem.
