16mm pushbuttons from Switchtec are easy to install

The pushbuttons feature a modern, compact design and offer the ease of installation and wiring that HMI applications always require. Featuring an industry standard 16mm through hole mounting, they are secured by locknut and supplied complete with a contact block that has a built in quick release mechanism, again designed to make installation faster and easier. Units are available in one, two and three NO/NC arrangements.

Standard pushbuttons are available with different head types embracing round, square, and rectangular heads. Flush head, extended head, mushroom head, and emergency stop mushroom ‘twist to release’ are also available. Selector switches and key switch versions complete the line up, whilst latching and illuminated versions extend the versatility of the range even further.

To suit a wide range of applications, SCL 16mm 10D series pushbuttons are available in red, yellow, blue, green and white (illuminated and non-illuminated versions) and also a black opaque version. By incorporating LED technology, the 10D series has a very low power consumption of less than 26mA for illuminated and indicator models.

Robust and well constructed, the pushbuttons offer an ingress protection rating of IP65 when installed into a panel, are fully RoHS compliant and carry the UL/CSA and CE approval for use in applications and projects worldwide.

To cover almost every eventuality, available accessories include protective covers, terminal covers, blanking plugs, bulb holders, replacement lenses and contact blocks. Also available are 16mm indicators (only) designed to match the pushbuttons.
