Relays feature an electrical life of 100,000 cycles
A series of relays. offering high reliability, have been launched by CIT Relay & Switch. Alongside a a contact rating of 10A at 250 and 30VDC, the J107E1 series features a 12 and 24V coil. The relays' contact material, which is made from AgSnO2, is (1A) SPST or (1C) SPDT arranged and has a resistance less than 50mΩ.

Arc-flash safety is a priority among plant professionals and protection technologies such as arc-flash relays are rapidly growing in popularity, it has been revealed. A survey, conducted by Littelfuse, found that while arc-flash danger was not a concern 10 years ago, 85% of the 825 respondents agreed or strongly agreed that arc-flash mitigation is important today.

CMFs feature ESD protection for MIPI D-PHY interfaces
Common Mode Filters (CMFs), featuring ESD protection for high-speed MIPI D-PHY and HDMI interfaces, have been introduced by NXP Semiconductors. Supporting the compact and slim designs of today’s portable devices, the PCMF family comes in small, thin DFN packages with a maximum height of 0.5mm and an industry standard footprint. The PCMF2DFN1 is designed for two differential line pairs, while the PCMF3DFN1 is designed for three line pairs.

  Constructed with a metal alloy providing superior corrosion and heat resistance, the TLR2BW metal plate chip current sense resistor has been unveiled by KOA Speer Electronics. The 1206 chip size resistor features a 1W power rating and a low resistance of 1-20mΩ.

High directivity 0302 thin film couplers for WiFi bands including the new, tight tolerance 0302 component from AVX are now available from its distributors. The WiFi band couplers are based on multilayer integrated thin film (ITF) technology, which provides the miniature components with excellent high frequency performance across the WiFi spectrum (2,400-5,905MHz) and rugged construction for reliable automatic assembly.

TVS diodes target DC line protection in aviation electronics
Expanding its offering of high-reliability Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) diodes available with customised upscreening and sorting process flows, Littelfuse has announced the SMBJ-HR and SMBJ-HRA series. Rated for 600W of peak pulse power dissipation, the diodes are suited for DC power protection and ESD protection in avionics applications.

Resistor features built-in climate control

A resistor with built-in climate control has been introduced by Vishay Foil Resistors (VFR). The bulk metal foil RTD simulator resistor is designed to simulate PT-100 and PT-1000 RTD outputs for the calibration of RTD instruments. The resistor, the company claim, provides a faster, easier and less expensive alternative to decade boxes and electronic simulators for the calibration of a range of applications including transmitters.

With three versions available, the ARC series of versatile, high-quality, non-inductive, high voltage, thick film resistors have been announced by ARCOL Resistors.
