Inductive components provide low losses & eddy currents

Inductive components provide low losses & eddy currents
SMP Sintermetalle Prometheus has expanded the performance range of its products. The range of inductive components is designed for currents up to 3000A and frequencies up to 500kHz, which can be increased to as much as 2MHz in special applications. SMP uses powder composite materials that have been developed and manufactured entirely in-house and feature lower eddy current and magnetic reversal losses.

Power line chokes' vertical design saves PCB space

Power line chokes' vertical design saves PCB space
Expanding its range of frame core power line chokes, TDK has introduced the B82733V* series in a vertical design, complementing the horizontally designed B82733F* series. The vertical design is particularly advantageous when there is limited space on the PCB. Featuring an insertion height of 27mm, the chokes have a footprint of just 29x15.5mm. This is more than 30% smaller than that of the horizontal version.
