Goodbye keys: Microcontroller powers smart lock system

Front door keys have been rendered redundant by STMicroelectronics STM32 microcontroller which is powering the August Smart Lock home-access control system. The high performance and power efficiency of the embedded microcontroller gives August Smart Lock users access to their home's door lock from a smartphone or computer - no keys needed.
