Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model CRO3000B-LF. The CRO3000B-LF operates at 3000 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-4.5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -115 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 11 MHz/V.
The CRO3000B-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 9 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing 20 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This VCO features typical second harmonic suppression of -20 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's standard MINI-16-SM package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The CRO3000B-F is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.

CRO3000B-LF is well suited for fixed wireless and test and measurement applications that require ultra low phase noise performance.
