Z-Communications, Inc. announced a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model CRO5750Z-LF. The CRO5750Z-LF operates at 5740-5760 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-4.5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -106 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 15 MHz/V.
The CRO5750Z-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 4 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing 70 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This VCO features typical second harmonic suppression of -40 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's VCO-24H package measuring 0.866 in. x 0.630 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The CRO5750Z-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
