Rakon is proud to announce that it has developed a 7.0 x 5.0 mm small form factor acceleration tolerant TCXO. The RFPT705 TCXO is available now with frequencies from 16 to 40 MHz and uses Rakon’s patented dual-crystal design giving better than 0.5 ppb/g acceleration sensitivity.
It is based on Rakon’s proprietary PlutoTM TCXO ASIC, a single chip oscillator with an analogue compensation circuit, which results in a frequency versus temperature stability as tight as ± 200 ppb. The RFPT705 design has a low component count making it very reliable for highly ruggedized environments.

Another key feature of the RFPT705 TCXO model is it uses standard components and manufacturing processes to reduce overall cost, resulting in a highly cost-effective solution.

Its small form factor, tight stability over a wide temperature range, low g-sensitivity/high acceleration tolerance and reliability in harsh environments, make the RFPT705 the perfect choice for surveying, oil exploration, defence and GPS receiver applications.
