Favourite crystal in the automotive industry
The PETERMANN-TECHNIK’s mini SMD crystal is housed in a 3.2 x 2.5 mm ceramic housing and available in a frequency range of 12 to 41 MHz. It has become the automotive industry’s favourite crystal thanks to drastically reduced prices.
The mini SMD crystal, produced in clean rooms within a temperature range of 0/+50 to -55/+125°C, has a ceramic housing with a welded Kovar lid that can be earthed via two pins, which in turn helps to drastically improve the crystal’s EMC performance. The crystal’s excellent shock and vibration resistance, very low prices, and multitude of uses have all helped to make it the automotive industry’s favourite crystal. Naturally, it can also be used in any other kind of application requiring a very small and lowcost mini SMD quartz crystal generator.
