Miniature surface mount TCXOs for portable electronics
Designed for use in portable electronics applications such as GPS and handsets, Euroquartz introduce a range of ultra-miniature surface mount temperature compensated crystal oscillators (TCXOs). The EM22S series TCXOs are packaged in an ultra-miniature SMD package measuring just 2.5x2.0x0.8mm and offer temperature stability from ±0.5ppm from -20 to +70°C.
Available with supply voltage variants for 1.8, 2.5 or 3.0V applications, these miniature, lightweight and compact components offer frequencies of 13-52MHz. Specifications include clipped sine output wave form, initial calibration tolerance of ±2ppm maximum (25°C 1 hour after reflow), output voltage level (peak-to-peak) of 0.8V minimum to 2.0V maximum (load 10k /10pF ±10%), current consumption of 2mA maximum for frequencies up to 26MHz and 2.5mA maximum for frequencies above 26MHz. Start-up time is 2ms maximum.
Euroquartz’s EM22S ultra-miniature SMD TCXOs are available on 8.0mm tape, 4mm pitch 180mm reels in 1000 and 3000 unit quantities.
