A problem concerning all motors with VFDs , also known as inverter output, is bearing damage and circulating current caused by high-frequency current, resulting in pitting, frosting, fluting, lubrication breakdown and bearing destruction. Filtering out the damaging current before it reaches the motor, Magnetec's CoolBLUE inductive absorbers reduce transient voltages, straight capacitive currents and common-mode currents.

Fashioned from Magnetec's own high-flux Nanoperm material, the absorbers efficiently dampen asymmetrical EMI noise currents. Offering magnetic properties which do not degrade over time and are not affected by heat, the inductive absorbers are suitable for applications including HVAC systems, VFD manufacturing, paper manufacturing, automotive, wind turbines and solar power systems.

Watch the video below to discover the benefits offered by the absorbers, and to learn how they work.
