The SMD03025 series was developed for applications that require a highly stable crystal generator in a very small ceramic SMD package, like for example: Bluetooth, GSM, GPS, WLAN, USB-Sticks, etc.. Frequency tolerances of down to +-5 p.p.m. are possible.

The SMD crystals of the SMD03025 series are available in frequencies from 13.0 – 40.0 MHz and in an extended temperature range of up to –40 to +125°C. A frequency tolerance of +-5 ppm at 25°C and a frequency stability +-3 ppm over -10°C to +55°C are possible.Ageing is at a maximum after the first year and then it reduces successively (Exponential Function). The standard ageing is +-2 ppm maximum after the first year.

If required, an ageing of +-1 ppm maximum after the first year is available.
It is also possible to deliver crystals with very tight parameters including ageing over 10 years.

Due to the very tight frequency tolerances that are available, the SMD03025 crystals are also predestined for use in Bluetooth, GSM, GPS, WLAN, as well as other radio applications.

The layout of the SMD crystal SMD03025 is the same as that of the competition. This compatibility makes the SMD03025 a direct drop in replacement.

The SMD crystal SMD03025 can be used for all applications where a miniaturised low cost and high performance crystal clock generator is required.

The crystals in the SMD03025 series sold by PETERMANN TECHNIK are manufactured exclusively in clean rooms and only crystal blanks are used that come from its own production. In this way the SMD03025 series offers its users the absolute best possible quality. If needed, this crystal can also be qualified to the automotive norm, AEC-Q200REV-B.

The extensive depth of manufacturing processes enables us to achieve excellent yields. In this way PETERMANN TECHNIK can offer low prices together with exceptional quality. This is of course also true for customer specials.

The SMD03025 crystals are lead (Pb) free and are RoHS (Restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment) conform according to the EU directive 2002/95/EG. The products can be soldered according to JEDEC Norm J-STD-020C (Reflow), JESD22-B106-C (Wave) and the IEC60068-2-20 Norm. If other soldering processes are needed, PETERMANN TECHNIK can test them for the customer.
