Rutronik is hosting a Speakers’ Corner on its stand at the Embedded World 2017 exhibition in Nuremberg (March 14-16). Embedded developers can find out at talks given by Renesas and Toshiba how they can optimally integrate the new technologies from these manufacturers in their designs.

On Wednesday, 15 March at 12.00 noon

Toshiba will present “ApP Lite Processor for Wearables & IoT TZ1000 Series”.Toshiba has developed a dual bus architecture for its new TZ1000 processor series so that it can offer high performance to wearables and other IoT devices with very low power consumption for advanced graphic functions. This makes the GFX 2D graphic acceleration into an autonomous subsystem; the capacity of the Cortex CPU is thus made completely available for application-related processes.

On Wednesday, 15 March, 10am and on

Thursday, 16 March, 10am, Renesas will present “Start at the API with Renesas Synergy”.Shorter development lead times and therefore more capacity for the development of customised innovations is what Renesas promises with its Synergy platform.

For this purpose, the platform is equipped with the scalable and compatible Cortex M4 or Cortex M0+ microcontrollers.

The platform incorporates intuitive development tools and kits as well as special add-on software. Licensing options can be selected by simple clicking through.

The talks each last approx. 30 minutes and will be given in English, advance registration is not required.
