Video series shines spotlight on hot products

A new video series entitled “New Product Discoveries with Randall Restle” recently kicked off to help engineers and maker professionals find innovative products for their prototypes and projects. The series by Digi-Key Electronics, was created as a way for the company to share innovative products with the electrical engineering (EE) community.
“In my role, I have visibility to the hottest products and coolest new technologies; and I wanted to share these discoveries with my fellow engineers,” said Randall Restle, VP, Applications Engineering at Digi-Key. “Whether it’s a component, development board, or technology, it’s the newest technologies that drive innovation. With Digi-Key’s broad inventory we are able to help engineers and makers design the next big thing.”
Every two weeks, a video featuring one or two new products that have been selected for their novelty and potential for innovation will be posted on Digi-Key’s YouTube page.
The featured products and technologies are chosen by Restle as ones he believes engineers and maker professionals would want to know more about – the kind of things you go to a tradeshow to discover.
Following Restle’s videos, Digi-Key will also feature some industry-leading technical resources, like addition videos and articles, demonstrating how to use the products for specific projects and advanced troubleshooting on potential issues they’ve observed and other information pertaining to the featured products and technology.
