Actisense will be returning to Europe’s largest commercial marine and workboat exhibition in June. Bringing two new products to market plus showcasing the prototype of the latest device in their PRO range, Seawork International will be a major event for the leading marine electronics manufacturers in their milestone 20th year.

The first product to be unveiled by Actisense at Seawork will be the A2K-RSK-1, a new NMEA 2000 starter kit specially designed for RIBs. The kit includes a four-way T, a three-metre micro-power cable, plus male and female terminators. Ideal for those looking to create an initial network for their RIB, the A2K-RSK-1 enables all items on a RIB to be efficiently connected and will avoid any unnecessary wires or trip hazards.

Actisense’s second product to be showcased for the first time will be the new A2K-SBN-1, an NMEA 2000 network device specifically for smaller boats. Designed using Actisense’s specialist interconnect and NMEA knowledge, the compact device includes a four-way-T, a three-metre micro-power cable, plus a male and female terminator all of which have been over-moulded and integrated internally.

“We are excited to be bringing these two new kits to Seawork 2017. Both have been designed with efficiency and practicality in mind and will be great for anyone looking to create a small network for the first time or those who prefer to keep their networks simple.”

Following the successful launch of their first device in the Actisense ‘PRO’ range at Seawork 2016, Actisense will be unveiling the prototype of their second item in the range with a with a ‘soft launch’ event on the 14th June, the second day of Seawork 2017. The new product will be a Professional Multiplexer, (PRO-MUX-1) and will join the Professional Buffer (PRO-BUF-1) as an Actisense product designed specifically for larger vessels and commercial shipping.

Commenting on the prototype, Phil said: “The team at Actisense is looking forward to receiving feedback on our PRO-MUX-1 prototype and Seawork is the ideal show in which to speak to prospective customers and find out exactly what they want from this product.”
